Paving

Wilder has been a pioneer in asphalt paving since our purchase of a Bellingham, Washington, asphalt plant in 1946. Since then, we have completed asphalt-paving projects from driveways and bicycle paths to major highways, industrial projects and airports.

Wilder’s hot mix asphalt plants produce materials that meet all specifications for Washington and Alaska transportation departments, including SuperPave. The materials also meet Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) designs. To the extent allowed by the project specifications, Wilder incorporates recycled asphalt.

We own our aggregate sources and produce various aggregate materials such as washed rock, washed sand, crushed-stone base course and crushed-stone top course.
