Tacoma Historical Coal Gasification Site

The Tacoma Historical Coal Gasification Site occupied fifty acres and included an active metal recycling facility. Wilder excavated and stabilized all contaminated soils on-site and dredged two ponds.

NPL Site Remediation

    Wilder was the prime contractor for remediation and civil construction work associated with an 80-acre National Priorities List (NPL) site from 1989 through 1999.

Groundwater Treatment And Soil Vapor Extraction Systems

Wilder was contracted by Ecology & Environment, Inc., to provide remediation construction services for a project funded by the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (ODEQ) to address tetrachloroethylene contamination in the soil and groundwater.

Foster Wheeler Camp Wesley Harris

Wilder Construction provided the equipment, personnel, and technical expertise to implement the use of the patented MAECTITE® treatment system at Camp Wesley Harris.

Western Processing Deep Well Pump & Treat System

Wilder performed the project in a partnership with CH2M Hill to design and build a remotely operated deep-well groundwater extraction, collection, and treatment system at the Western Processing Superfund Site. 

Former Sternoff Metals Remediation

This project is ongoing and has so far involved the demolition of 23 buildings, excavation of over 19,000 CY of contaminated soil and crushing of 7,000 CY of concrete.

Eagle Harbor Superfund Site

The Eagle Harbor West Operable Unit NPL Site remediation involved the mitigation of contaminated sediments and upland soil contamination by dredging, excavation, treatment and placement of material within a confined disposal facility constructed onsite. 

Explosives Washout Lagoon Contaminated Soil 
Remediation Phase 1 – Umatilla Depot Activity

The remediation of the Explosives Washout Lagoons at the Umatilla Army Depot was one of the first efforts by the Seattle District to deal with TNT and RDX contamination.

McCormick and Baxter Superfund Site

Wilder excavated, screened, stockpiled, and loaded, 33,700 tons RCRA hazardous soil and debris. They also lined excavated areas with geotextile; removed and disposed of contaminated railroad tracks and ties; and performed asbestos abatement.

Standard Steel & Metals Salvage Yard Superfund Site

Wilder excavated and stabilized all contaminated soils on-site and constructed a containment cell for the stabilized material.

Tacoma Dome Station Demolition

Wilder performed the demolition, disposal, soil remediation and grading of two blocks in downtown Tacoma for the construction of the new Pierce transit Tacoma Dome Station.
