Tazimina Hydro Electric Facility The purpose of this project was to stabilize and lower the cost of power to the residents of three communities located about 175 miles southwest of Anchorage by constructing a "run of the river" hydroelectric plant at the 110' high falls on the Tazimina River. Standard Steel & Metals Salvage Yard Superfund Site Excavation and stabilization of all contaminated soils on-site and construction of a containment cell for the stabilized material. |
