Alaska Division

Wilder's Alaska Division primarily performs large projects including heavy civil, heavy highway, paving, site work, bridge construction, structures, heavy concrete, marine facilities and airport construction throughout the State of Alaska. Contract amounts totaled over $50 million per year in 1998 and 1999 on projects in such diverse locations as Dutch Harbor in the Aleutian Islands, Kodiak Island, Southeast Alaska and as far north as the Dalton Highway above the Arctic Circle.

Our Alaska Division also maintains a strong presence in the environmental market. Our experienced staff has performed and managed a variety of environmental projects throughout the state. Contracts include: two joint venture IDITRA contracts with Harding Lawson & Associates for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and teaming as a sub-contractor to Jacobs Engineering Group under their Total Environmental Restoration Contract (TERC). Separate contracts with the U.S. Air Force 3rd Contracting Squadron at Elmendorf Air Force Base; and as the performance subcontractor to Jacobs Engineering Group for projects at Indian Mountain and Eielson Air Force Base under their Air Force AFCEE contract has strengthened our environmental presence in Alaska.
